When you create an account, we collect:

- Family Role: Your role within family groups (e.g., Parent, Child)
Family Data
To enable family features, we collect:
- Family Membership: Which family groups you belong to
- Family Relationships: Family tree and relationship connections
- Invite Codes: Codes used to join family groups
User-Generated Content
When you use the App, we collect and store:
- Posts: Text posts, photos, and voice notes you create
- Comments: Comments you post on content
- Reactions: Reactions (likes, etc.) you give to posts
- Events: Calendar events you create including titles, dates, times, locations, descriptions, and meeting information
- Event Comments: Comments you post on events

Subscription and Purchase Information
If you subscribe to premium features:

This information is collected and processed by RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service.
App Settings and Preferences
We store your app preferences:
- Notification Preferences: Whether you want to receive notifications
- Theme Preferences: Your choice of light mode, dark mode, or system default
- Language Preferences: Your preferred language (if set)
- Payment Integration: PayPal connection information (if you choose to connect)
Device Permissions
The App may request access to:

Current Storage Method
All data is currently stored locally on your device:
- Structured Data: Account information, posts, events, and other structured data are stored in your device's UserDefaults
- Media Files: Photos and voice notes are stored in the App's Documents directory on your device
- No Cloud Sync: Currently, data is not synced to cloud servers or backed up online
- Device-Specific: Your data exists only on the device where you use the App

- Your data is private to your device
- Data is not accessible from other devices
- If you delete the App or lose your device, your data may be lost
- Data is not currently shared with our servers or third-party cloud services

We plan to implement cloud storage and synchronization in the future. When this happens, we will update this Privacy Policy to reflect:

Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access Your Data: All your data is stored locally on your device
- Delete Your Data: You can delete the App to remove all local data, or manage specific content within the App
- Control Permissions: You can grant or revoke camera, microphone, photo library, and notification permissions through your device settings
- Manage Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's App Store settings
- Delete Your Account: You can delete your account and data by deleting the App (note: this will remove all local data)
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data:
- Local Storage: Data stored locally on your device benefits from iOS security features
- Secure Authentication: Account authentication is handled locally
- No Network Transmission: Currently, your data is not transmitted over networks (except for RevenueCat subscription management)
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The Living Room is designed for family use and may be used by children under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
